    Dark Horse Comics have sent over an exclusive preview of their upcoming one-shot The Occultist by Hack/Slash writer Tim Seeley with art by Victor Drujiniu and Andrew Dalhouse. From Dark Horse’s site:
"When a mysterious book of powerful spells binds itself to him, the fact that Rob’s life has been falling apart doesn’t seem like such a big deal. What do his girlfriend leaving him or his mountain of debt matter when mystics and demons are overrunning the town in search of the book—and him? To survive, Rob must learn to control the book’s unpredictable magic, while his life slips even further out of control.

SLIPKNOT-CONFIRMANDO PRA O FESTIVAL GRASPOP METAL

SLIPKNOT is the first band to be announced for GMM2011! The Iowa metallers have been a crowd favorite at Graspop for many years. Not surprisingly, they have been invited for the fourth time in a row to do what they do best: whip the masses into a frenzy. If you’ve seen this outfit at work, you will know that Slipknot stands for a unique combination of pummeling songs and a crushing stage show. NEON INDIAN USES ANLOG TECHNOLOGY NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Neon Indian Uses Analog Technology In New Music Video

The psychedelic indie band, Neon Indian released a new video named Mind Drips using a long forgotten analog technology.

A visual feast to the eyes, the video employs a lo-fi device called the LZX Visionary, invented by tech wizards Lars Larsen and Edward Leckie. Mind Drips is the first music video to use a method that manipulates abstract patterns, video feedback, and analog compositing in real-time. According to the IFC website, which presented the exclusive premier of the video, the featured technology is”an analog video synthesizer that manipulates images in the same way an audio synthesizer does for sound.” The trippy effects amplify the storyline, as a woman slips into a hole in her bed with her psychedelic teddy bear, ascending into a world of whirling colors.

Gi respondeu com a maior atenção e carinho nosso blog sobre a nova parceria com os gaúchos da Comunidade Nin-Jitsu na track novíssima 'Sou Blase' e mais algumas outras coisas que muita gente gostaria de saber.

Depois de ter viajado quase todo o Brasil fervendo as pistas mais bacanas das principais casas noturnas, a santista tem projeto de lançar álbum novo com músicas inéditas em 2011 e possível volta a terras porto-alegrenses. Quer saber mais? Então se joga, que a entrevista tá bafo!

Como surgiu a idéia de fazer essa parceria com os meninos da Comunidade Nin-Jitsu?

MC GI - Surgiu assim que terminei de escrever a letra, na HORA pensei "isso é a cara da Comunidade!"

Como foi pra você a experiência de trabalhar com eles?

MC GI - Foi e está sendo ótima. Os meninos acolheram muito bem a idéia da parceria, exatamente como imaginei que seria. No lance da composição, achei importante também ter a cara da Comunidade. As partes que o Mano canta, decidimos fazer algumas modificações pra que rolasse a personalidade deles na música. Eu adorei!

No que, ou em quem você se inspirou para compor a letra de 'Sou Blase'?

MC GI - Hahahahahahha! Olha, foi um mix de situações e de pessoas.

O que você achou do resultado de ter uma música sua com uma base mais rock?

MC GI - Achei incrível! Eu comecei na música com o rock, então essa base me fez recordar essa época, só que ao mesmo tempo achei que tem tudo a ver com o que faço agora, se prestarem atenção a letra tem duplo sentido, sem conotação sexual, mas tem.

A Comunidade Nin-Jitsu é gaúcha, você há pouco visitou Porto Alegre. Teria chance de um show próximo, agora junto com a Comunidade Nin-Jitsu?

MC GI - Super chance! Está rolando essa história de que haverá um live nosso para cantarmos a música pela primeira vez em POA, tomara que aconteça o quanto antes =)

O que você achou da recepção da galera no seu show no Beco 203, mês passado?

A gente sabe definitivamente que você não gosta e nem muito menos é ‘blase’ com seu público. A maior prova disso se vê via Twitter, seu carinho e atenção com os fãs e admiradores do seu trabalho. Como você se sente diante disso?

MC GI - Não me imagino sendo antipática com quem aprecia meu trabalho, acho incoerente e eu seria muito mal agradecida de tratar com indiferença quem me ajuda a crescer. O que conquistei e conquisto é graças aos meus fãs, jamais vou mudar minha forma de pensar.

Como você resumiria o ano de 2010 pra MC GI?

MC GI - Oh Yeah! 2011 vai tremer, MC GI nas telas e sons. Hahaha! Estamos trabalhando num projeto bem legal e o álbum sai SIM em 2011 com músicas inéditas e letras MUY CALIENTES!
