If you’re like many people, you’ve probably enjoyed The Walking Dead’s first season on AMC, likely due in no small part to its strong writing. If that’s the case, you might be just as confused with the news that showrunner Frank Darabont has fired his entire writing staff as we were. Word is that Darabont wants to replace them all with freelancers, which isn’t uncommon in television, but it is a bit strange for a show as high-profile as The Walking Dead, and one based on an established IP, too.

CELEBRUTY IS DEAD- FAMOSO EM POSES MORTAIS

Celebrities including Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams and Swizz Beatz have all quit Twitter and Facebook to raise money on behalf of Alicia Keys’ Keep a Child Alive (KCA) charity ahead of the World Aids Day.
The charity raises money for families in Africa and India affected by HIV/Aids and the stars will only log back on when one million dollars – around £640,000 – is raised for Aids charities.
Each celebrity has filmed a video of their last tweet and testament.
Below are some of the adverts supporting the campaign showing images of the artists lying in coffins to represent their digital deaths.

Star Wars is a significant part of the world to those of us who grew up in the 70s and 80s, even if you weren’t a fan. (And if you weren’t, why in the hell are you bothering to read this article?) It was the biggest cultural phenomenon of the latter 20th century—something akin to Harry Potter today—and thankfully, new generations of kids are becoming entranced by the Star Wars universe due to the cartoons, if not the forgettable prequels.
And as phenomena do, Star Wars has insinuated itself into the national conversation—sometimes in ways that seem pretty out there—like in a galaxy far, far away.

10. C3P0’s Cereal

What was it about the persnickety protocol droid that made him the choice to have a kids cereal named for him? Could have been the color (golden robot, golden corn shapes), but that seems like a thin excuse, since it’s not like kids were going to turn up their noses at an R2D2 cereal that wasn’t blue and white. This didn’t do all that well, despite the popularity of the brand, because really no one wants to eat a fussy and scolding breakfast.

10.. Cereal de C3P0

O   dróide  que fez dele a escolha de ter um cereal nomeado para ele? Poderia ter sido a cor (robô dourado, formas de milho de ouro), mas que parece ser uma desculpa fina, já que não é como as crianças estavam  virando o nariz para um cereal R2D2 que não era azul e nem branco. Este não fez tudo muito bem, apesar da popularidade da marca, porque realmente ninguém quer comer um  pequeno-almoço.

On Sunday, November 28, Egypt held a vote for the lower house of parliament, a political event that set the stage for next year's presidential race. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's National Democratic Party (NDP), dominated the elections and its members largely controlled access to the polling sites, making it difficult for Egypt's largest opposition party, the Muslim Brotherhood, to cast ballots for its candidates.
Although polling stations were separated by gender, women turned out in large numbers. Many cast their votes for Dr. Manal Abul Hassan, one of the only women contesting a non-quota seat against a male candidate from the NDP. Abul Hassan, a university professor, vowed to uphold sharia law in the Egyptian parliament, but she also promised equality for "every Egyptian citizen, whether a man or a woman, a Muslim or a Copt."

Cancer Bats join Devildriver for upcoming North American tour

November 23, 2010 — Toronto’s Cancer Bats will join California’s Devildriver on their highly anticipated North American tour this winter. The Canadian portion of the tour kicks off in Vancouver on January 25 and will wrap up in Toronto on February 2.
Since releasing their third studio album 'Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones' in April, the Juno nominated Cancer Bats have graced the pages of countless top-tier publications across the globe. COWBOYS AND ALLIENS-FAroeste alienigena

   brace yourself for this. In Cowboys and Aliens you have Indiana Jones and James Bond fighting aliens in the old west. It’s directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Spielberg and Ron Howard. Oh, and it has Olivia Wilde in it too. Not good enough? How about effects by ILM and creature work by Legacy Studios (the former Stan Winston Studios)? It’s also based on a pretty cool comic. The trailer released today is a great teaser as it doesn’t give away anything major, such as what the aliens look like, but sets up an awesome looking Western with some science fiction tossed in.

Why Fantastic Four made Jessica Alba want to 'stop acting'

We're all for actors being candid—see our Mark Wahlberg bit from earlier today—but delusional is something else. The actress blames "first-time directors" for her flops and calls Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer the film that made her want to "stop acting."
       
If you'll recall, the online hubbub of from about a week ago was Alba—she of films like Sin City, Machete, Deep Blue and the Fantastic Four duo—telling Elle magazine that screenwriters and their work are optional at best. "Good actors never use the script unless it's amazing writing. All the good actors I've worked with, they all say whatever they want to say." This, of course, endeared her to no one, least of all writers like John August, who fired back with "Following your logic, you've never been in a movie with both good actors and amazing writing. That may be true, but it might hurt the feelings of David Wain, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller."
Now she's laying into her directors. In discussing her failures, like 2007's Good Luck Chuck and 2008's The Love Guru, she blames their suckiness on "first-time directors" while all but admitting that she made those films for the money: "I know I haven't been swimming in the deep end with some of the movies I've done ... I wasn't trying to. I knew what they were."
As for 2007's Fantastic Four sequel, she had nothing nice to say about the process of working for director Tim Story. "I wanted to stop acting," she said. "The director was like, 'It looks too real. It looks too painful. Can you be prettier when you cry? Cry pretty, Jessica.' He was like, 'Don't do that thing with your face. Just make it flat. We can CGI the tears in.' And I'm like, But there's no connection to a human being. And then it got me thinking: Am I not good enough? Are my instincts and my emotions not good enough? Do people hate them so much that they don't want me to be a person? Am I not allowed to be a person in my work? And so I just said, 'F--k it. I don't care about this business anymore.'"
There's no denying that Alba's been in some bad movies and they were either poorly written, poorly directed or both. But there's also no denying that she chose to be in those movies. She read the scripts—presumably—and met the directors and still said yes. Filmmaking is, of course, a leap of faith: One gambles on the hope that a project's potential will be realized. But one should stack the deck in one's favor before signing on.
And one more thing can't be denied: Alba has never lived up to the promise she showed in Dark Angel. It's not as if she was some sparkly diamond in these films, buried under a pile of crap. Maybe this is exactly how far being pretty will take you. At some point, the talent has to kick in. Or you'll end up as the sixth lead in Little Fockers.

Todos os bons atores com quem trabalhei, todos dizem oquerem dizer."Não estou , admirada com ninguém, muito menos com os escritores como John August, que reagiu com "Seguindo sua lógica, você nunca esteve em um filme com dois bons atores e esc srpreendente. Isso pode ser verdade, mas pode ferir os sentimentos de David Wain, Robert Rodriguez e Frank Miller."

Agora ela está com seus diretores. Ao discutir suas falhas, como em  2007's no filme Good Luck Chuck e 2008, O Guru doAmor,ela culpa seus "diretores de primeira viagem", enquanto todos,  admitem que ela fez os filmes por dinheiro: "Eu sei que não foram ao fundo do poço com alguns destes filmes que eu fiz . Eu sabia que eles eram.

"Relativamente em 2007 no Quarteto Fantástico,ela não nada agradável para dizer sobre o processo de trabalho com o diretor Tim Story. "Eu queria parar de atura", disse ela. "O diretor foi do tipo, 'Ele parece muito real. Parece muito doloroso. Pode ser mais bonito quando você chorar? Chore , Jessica. Ele era como, 'Não faça essa coisa com a sua cara. Basta fazer planos. Podemos usar o CGI para suas as lágrimas dentro'
