WONDER WOMAN TV SERIES FROM NBC -UNIFORME DA HEROIINA É CRITICADO

NBC came under fire when it released the first photo of Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman earlier this month.
As THR.com Heat Vision blogger Borys Kit pointed out, fanboys said she looked "too trashy, too bad-porn-y," Fox said her look wasn't patriotic enough and even Lynda Carter, who played her in the '70s TV series, weighed in. PHOTOS: The next generation of superheroes.
Palicki's blue vinyl pants and blue boots were said to resemble footed pajamas, according to online commenters, and her patent-vinyl outfit "looks cheap" and "probably squeaks every time she moves" wrote blogs.
Now, photos have been surfacing from the set of of David E. Kelly's pilot showing Palicki in what appear to be cotton or spandex pants instead of vinyl and bright red contrasting boots. PHOTOS: A makeup line inspired by Wonder Woman.
A DC Comics spokesperson spoke out in support of the look earlier this month: "The latest evolution of Wonder Woman’s iconic costume is a central part of the latest comic book storyline. All of the classic symbols – patriotic (stars, eagle) and heroic (lasso, bracelets) – are ever-present.

Sandman' TV Series 'Not in the Works,' 'Supernatural' Creator Says

Eric Kripke, who was attached to develop the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed comic book, still hopes it will be made.

Supernatural creator Eric Kripke – who was attached to develop a TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed comic book series The Sandman – says the project is not happening.
“Unfortunately, for a lot of varying reasons, Sandman is not in the works, at least for this season," Kripke tells The Hollywood Reporter.
In September, Warner Bros. TV named Kripke as its top choice to develop the fantasy series when the company was working to acquire the television rights from sister company DC Entertainment.
Speaking from the red carpet before the Supernatural panel at PaleyFest on Sunday afternoon, Kripke says The Sandman “just didn’t quite happen this season through nobody’s fault, and hopefully we can do it again in the future.”
The Sandman centers on Morpheus, a deity who personifies dreams. He goes on a quest to find his lost objects of power when he is captured by humans who mistake him for his older sister, Death.
Kripke did speak with the Gaiman, the writer behind The Sandman, to discuss a possible adaptation, mentioning that the series “is without a doubt my all-time favorite comic.”
“I’m such a fan of Neil, and he’s every bit as smart as promised and every bit as cool and down-to-earth, and I just loved my conversations with him,” he said.
Kripke shared that Gaiman appeared to be familiar with Supernatural, which he said in the past is heavily inspired by Gaiman’s work. (Yesterday, he told THR that Supernatural is “Sandman meets American Gods”).
“When I saw [Gaiman], I said, ‘Just so you know, I rip you off all the time for the show,’ and he said, ‘I really appreciate that because you and Kevin Smith have both been very public about ripping me off, and I don’t mind if people rip me off, I just want them to be public and admit it,’ ” Kripke said.
Kripke, who stepped down as Supernatural showrunner last season, is now freer to work on other projects -- but is still involved with the writing of the CW show.
Gaiman’s books have recently found their way to the big screen with the Robert de Niro film Stardust and the stop-motion hit Coraline. His novel Neverwhere was adapted as a BBC miniseries in 1996.

SNOW WHITE THE MOVIE =LILY COLLIN SER´A BRANCA DE NEVE

Lily Collins is Officially Cast as Snow White in Relativity's New Movie

Looks like the girl who wore the same dress as Kristen Stewart will be playing the same role as Stewart - but in a different movie. Relativity Media has announced that Lily Collins is officially cast in the role of Snow White in their upcoming Snow White project being directed by Tarsem Singh. The project is tentatively titled The Brothers Grimm: Snow White and is obviously based on the classic Brothers Grimm story. Collins will star opposite Armie Hammer (his news) who will play Prince Andrew Alcott and Oscar-winner Julia Roberts, who will play the Queen. Pre-production has begun, and principal photography starts in May.
It looks like Tarsem is making some strong progress on developing this project while still working on post-production for Immortals, which isn't slated to hit theaters until November. This Snow White movie will hit theaters in June 29th, 2012. Relativity's Snow White, a retelling of one of the most beloved fables of all-time, will eschew the traditional story in favor of a more modern tale full of comedy and adventure. After her evil stepmother kills her father and destroys the kingdom, Snow White bands together with a gang of seven quarrelsome dwarfs to reclaim what is rightly hers. Lily Collins broke out in the movie The Blind Side and is also in this summer's Priest. Collins is 22 years old and looks to be on a fast track in Hollywood.

Discovered: Details of Hawkeye's (rather extended) cameo in Thor

While we'd already heard that Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) was going to make a cameo appearance in Marvel's upcoming superhero movie Thor, we didn't know how big of a cameo it was going to be ... until now. And we've got a few details on what we'll see.

The lucky Katey Rich from Cinemablend got to see some footage from director Kenneth Branagh's Thor during Cinema Con—and while you might think Marvel and Paramount would NOT show the cameo appearance in order to get us into theaters to see it— they did!

Here's what she reports:

Jeremy Renner is playing Hawkeye in Avengers but now we know that the first place you'll see the character is in Thor this summer. The scene we saw featured Renner as Hawkeye, working with the infamous Agent Coulson, played as he was in the Iron Man movies, by Clark Gregg. The scene features Hawkeye using his famous bow and arrow and he has multiple lines, so while we're talking about something a little more than a momentary cameo, there's no way to know if his involvement will go any further than that one scene.

For now at least we know he's in the movie. Expect Hawkeye to show up in Thor when you buy your ticket on May 5th.

I lived the Barranquilla Carnival for the fourth time this year, and although I found it even more elaborate than in the past there was still a lot of the chaos so typical of Colombia’s Caribbean towns. I felt apprehensive and fearful after having been robbed two years earlier in the entrance reserved for photographers. My flash was gone in an instant then, whisked from my bag in seconds. This year I arrived on a sunny day, hoping to find some new Carnival characters to photograph.
Covering Carnival here is not the same as in Rio’s Sambadrome, where photogenic scenes exist everywhere you look. Rio’s is well-organized with an established time schedule, beginning at night and finishing at sunrise. Their costumes are beautifully-made, with the dancers synchronized on monumental floats amid realistic scenery. In contrast Barranquilla holds its Carnival in the streets, with electric cables, advertising billboards, garbage and the ugly metal fence that separates the public from the parade spoiling the landscape. It’s creative mayhem where the dancers drink liquor, dance however they feel, and play with the public. Their suits often show the wear of many years of use, and the engines that move the floats spew the smoke of old age.
It’s a beautiful Carnival to cover because it demands concentration and persistence. We use all of our lenses and slow speeds to capture movement, while the shadows and natural light allow more creativity. We often end up almost dancing with the revelers, inhaling the fumes of the same gasoline that the harlequins use to breathe fire. It’s easy to become hypnotized by the music and the drumbeats, and hear them echo in our dreams hours later.
It all begins with a surge of the spectators’ passion when they hear and feel the approaching first dancers leading the parade. They are the dancing characters of a Carnival with more than 120 years of history. The dancers come close; they dance almost with the public, make gestures, and laugh. This all happens in the scorching heat under a blazing Caribbean sun.
The groups of dancers dressed as Africans are among the most fun to photograph. They see us with our cameras and begin to gesture towards us with their eyes and mouths.
But it’s the “cumbiamberas” that bring the real flavor of Carnival. Hundreds of women with colorful skirts, their hair tied up and a candle in their hands, dance with their male companions dressed in white to the rhythm of the original South American cumbia. They dance by memory and feel the click of our cameras, taking great care to dance even harder for us, to the point of even tangling us up in their flowing skirts.
To cover well means walking kilometers in search of the best images, feeling the music, and laughing with the dancers. We ourselves become part of the chaotic and noisy Carnival overflowing with legends where rich and poor share the joy of the fiesta for a few scorching hours. By the end of the afternoon they return home inebriated with beer and rum, and the hangover that they will gladly repeat in a year’s time.

vivi o Carnaval de Barranquilla, pela quarta vez este ano, e embora eu achei ainda mais elaborado do que no passado havia ainda uma grande parte de caos, tão típicas do Caribe cidades e das cidades da Colômbia. Senti-me apreensivo e com medo depois de terem sido roubados dois anos anteriores na entrada reservada aos fotógrafos. Meu flash tinha ido em um instante, então, levado de meu saco em segundos. Este ano eu cheguei em um dia ensolarado, esperando encontrar algum carnaval novos de personagens para se fotografar.

A Cobertura do carnaval aqui não é o mesmo que no Sambódromo do Rio, onde as cenas fotogênicas existem em toda parte que você olha. Rio é bem organizado, com um calendário estabelecido, começando à noite e terminando ao amanhecer. Suas fantasias são maravilhosa feito, com os dançarinos sincronizados no momento monumental e flutuante entre o cenário realista. Em contraste Barranquilla mantém seu Carnaval nas ruas, com carros elétricos, painéis de publicidade,e o lixo e a cerca separa o público do desfile estragando a paisagem. É a desordem criativa, onde os bailarinos beber licor, dança no entanto eles se sentem, e jogar com o público. Seus ternos muitas vezes mostram o desgaste de muitos anos de uso, e os motores que movimentam os carros alegóricos vomitar o fumo de terceira idade.

É um carnaval bonito para cobrir porque exige concentração e persistência. Usamos todas as nossas lentes e baixa velocidade para captar o movimento, enquanto as sombras ea luz natural permite mais criatividade. Nós muitas vezes acabam quase dançando com os foliões, inalando a fumaça da gasolina mesmo que os arlequins usar para cuspir fogo. É fácil ficar hipnotizado pela música e as batidas de tambor, e ouvi-los ecoar em nossos sonhos horas mais tarde.

Tudo começa com uma onda de espectadores a paixão quando se ouvir e sentir os primeiros dançarinos de aproximar liderando o desfile. Eles são os personagens dançando de um Carnaval com mais de 120 anos de história. Os dançarinos se aproximam; dançam quase com o público, fazer gestos e risos. Isso tudo acontece sob o calor escaldante sob um sol escaldante do Caribe.

Para cobrir bem significa andar quilômetros em busca das melhores imagens, sentindo a música e rindo com os dançarinos. Nós nos tornamos parte da caótica e ruidosa do carnaval repleto de lendas, onde ricos e pobres compartilhar a alegria da festa para um escaldante poucas horas. Até o final da tarde eles retornam para casa embriagado com cerveja e cachaça, e da ressaca que o prazer repetir no ano, de um tempo.
