No começo de 1996, Bonz (vocal), Rich Ward (guitarra), Corey Lowery (baixo) e Bud Fontsere (bateria) lançaram em território europeu o EP “Violated” que apresentava quatro músicas gravadas em estúdio e mais duas versões ao vivo. Terminada turnê a banda retornou ao estúdio para preparar o futuro álbum: “Pigwalk”. Este cd foi o que realmente mostrou a cara do Stuck Mojo para o público, com vendas bastante satisfatórias. As passagens da banda em shows também serviram para engrandecer o nome Stuck Mojo, especialmente durante os dois anos seguintes que a banda passou se apresentando tanto nos Estados Unidos como na Europa.
In early 1996, Bonz (vocals), Rich Ward (guitar), Corey Lowery (bass) and Bud Fontseré (drums) launched into the European territory EP "Violated" which featured four songs recorded in studio and two versions alive. After touring the band returned to the studio to prepare for the future album "Pigwalk. This cd is what really showed the face of Stuck Mojo to the public, with sales fairly good. The passages of the band in concert also served to magnify the name Stuck Mojo, especially during the two years following the band began performing in both the U.S. and Europe.
Com uma fusão de estilos entre Neo-Soul/ R&B/ Funk. A banda foi formada em Los Angeles, Califórnia em 2003. Depois de mais ou menos 1 ano tocando em pequenos bares de Los Angeles, a banda foi promover seu primeiro CD “My Story” na Europa, onde abriu os shows de Britney Spears, o que causou irritações de fãs de New Metal. Segundo declarações de Jada, ela e o marido Will Smith descobriram e se apaixonaram pelo Heavy Metal há alguns anos atrás e esta paixão a fez querer desesperadamente montar uma banda. Integrantes Jada Pinkett Smith – Vocal Pocket Honore – Guitarra Rio Lawrence – Baixo Cameron “Wirm” Graves - Guitarra Thomas Pridgen – Bateria Estréia no OzzFest 2005 Depois, que Sharon Osbourne (esposa e empresária de Ozzy) anunciou a presença da banda no Ozzfest de 2005 (muito tempo após a escalação do festival ter sido anunciada) a controvérsia começou e os eventos que se seguiram foram como uma bola de neve. Primeiramente, o público começou a reclamar da presença da banda no festival no próprio fórum do website oficial do festival (Ozzfest.com), o que provocou a agressiva reação de Jada fazendo ameaças em entrevistas de que convidaria o marido (Will Smith) para subir ao palco e cantar hip hop se o público “desse trabalho”. Não foi uma boa idéia. O público aceitou o desafio e desde a primeira incursão do festival em Mansfield, Massachussetts, em 15 de Julho, não a deixou em paz, a vaiando e xingando durante toda a apresentação da banda (Will Smith foi a este evento, mas não subiu ao palco…).

Estabilizada com 6 membros fixos em 2008, a banda SEMBLANT lançou seu primeiro EP chamado “Behold the Real Semblant”, com 3 faixas: “Forever Failure”, “Black Babylon” e “Legacy of Blood”, que apresentam o contexto geral explorado pelo grupo. O lançamento deste primeiro trabalho foi no Palace of Sin Fest 2, segunda edição do maior festival de bandas dos gêneros doom/gothic/dark no Brasil. A excelente receptividade deste e de todos os shows anteriores culminou no convite para a abertura do Tristania, no dia 16/05/08 em Curitiba/PR, que foi o único show no Brasil onde o Tristania foi headliner e dividiu o palco com uma banda de gênero musical similar. A SEMBLANT ainda prepara os últimos ajustes para o lançamento de um debut-album chamado “Last Night of Mortality”, programado para ser lançando no mês de março de 2010; o lançamento marcará o primeiro registro oficial do grupo e sua estréia no selo Freemind Records, maior selo independente lançando artistas do metal nacional na atualidade, que possui em seu cast brasileiro grandes destaque do gênero como Unearthly, The Ordher, Kamala, Andralls e artistas internacionais licenciados no Brasil como Crematory, Solitude Aerturnus, Aborted, Sinister e muitos outros. A arte de capa e encarte deste lançamento, bem como todo o design que a banda apresentou desde seu nascimento (logomarca, símbolo, site e myspace) ficam à cargo do renomado artista brasileiro Gustavo Sazes
