The prolific multi-instrumentalist couches intensely personal narratives in throwback industrial crushers subject to multiple interpretations. On the surface, leadoff single “The Inevitable Relapse” details a shattered man succumbing to addiction, but can be read as a study of love lost, consumption or obsession, depending on your perspective. Not to mention its isolated bass line and thudding chord collapse both conjure and modernize Filter’s breakthrough smash, “Hey Man, Nice Shot.”

eles tem aquela pegada do thrash metal dos anos 80 mas pelo pouco que eu ouvi no Myspace eu achei bem atual
na linha de bandas como Devil Driver,Chimaria e o proprio The Haunted.

As gravações começaram em meados de 2008 e depois de gravarem algumas demos completaram seu line up no meio de 2009 eles já estavam com 15 musicas finalizadas
foram banda de abertrua do show do Onslaught aqui em são paulo e resolveram gravar em janeiro de 2010 o primeioro album que com certeza eu vou compra e ai poderei dar uma opinião masi abalizada sobre album que pelo pouco que eu ouvi já um dos melhores do ano

Melvins é composto por "King" Buzz Osborne e Dale Crover, progrediu em sua própria maneira torcida desde a sua formação no início de 1980 em Montesano, Washington Esses dois caras já fizeram parte de grande número de bandas por aí , tanto em no estúdio quanto na estrada. E não forma qualquer coisa com eles tocaram. Eu estou falando caras como o guitarrista Adam Jones, do Toll, o baixista Joe Preston, do Earth , High on Fire, e vários outros, o baixista Trevor Dunn, do Mr. Bungle. Há também o fato de que Kurt Cobain - sim, que Kurt Cobain - experimentar tocar na banda, mas não podiam cortá-lo.

Ao longo destes três registros, Crover e Osborne participaram dos Big Business, que era composto pelo baixista Jared Warren e o baterista Coady Willis. E a influência das duas bandas claramente sangram através desde o Big Business. Depois, há o fato de que sua dinâmica é um inferno um show ao vivo, com Crover e Willis na bateria simultaneamente e trocando cilindro .
