Heat Vision anuncia atriz Jennifer Lawrence de 19 anos estará Winter's Bone, vi no último Inverno, assim como fará parte do The Burning Plain,a atriz foi escolhida para ser a mutante Mistica do X-men:First Class Matthew Vaughn que será um rebot. Fox vai reunir o elenco de modo rápido na esperança de conseguir a produção em andamento o mais rápido possível. Além de Lawrence, Variety também confirmou a participação de Kevin Bacon como um vilão, mas ainda não está nada certo que irá atuar. Heat Vision announces that 19-year-old actress Jennifer Lawrence, last seen in Winter's Bone as well as The Burning Plain, has been cast as the mutant Mystique in Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class prequel/reboot. Fox has been putting together the cast as quick as they can in hopes of getting production underway as soon as possible. In addition to Lawrence, Variety also confirmed Kevin Bacon's involvement as a villain, but still no word on who he's playing. I've heard that Singer and co would like to surprise everyone about the villain in the movie, but who knows if they can even pull that off anyway.

Director Matthew Vaughn begins shooting soon, aiming for release on June 3rd, 2011. I'm really liking the young, ambitious cast Vaughn has put together so far.
